Asiatype Incorporated was established in Manila, Philippines by two French shareholders. Our primary goal was to provide reliable pre-press services to local advertising and direct-marketing agencies. With a humble beginning rooted in dedication and hard work, we set out on a path that would shape the course of our company.
Asiatype Incorporated expanded its reach by establishing partnerships with its first European academic and scholarly publishers. Our dedication to providing high-quality pre-press services paid off, as we collaborated with well-respected publishing houses, such as Brill Publishers and Oxford University Press. This was a significant moment in our journey, and these early partnerships have left a lasting impact on our growth and success.
Asiatype Incorporated underwent a transformation and rebranded as Datagrafix Incorporated. This pivotal moment coincided with our expansion into the American market and the birth of Datagrafix US. Our focus shifted towards working with American publishers, and our primary collaboration during this period was with Pearson Education.
Building on our success, Datagrafix Inc. further expanded its presence in Europe. We diversified our clientele by partnering with French publishers in the education and fiction/non-fiction industries. The Hachette Group became one of our key collaborators, and our expertise in providing high-quality pre-press services continued to grow.
It was in 2007 that Datagrafix Inc. reached its peak. We have earned a reputation for delivering comprehensive and tailored solutions to some of the biggest and most renowned publishers across Europe and the United States. In order to broaden our global reach and establish a stronger presence in Germany, Datagrafix GSP GmbH was created in Berlin in 2016. This marked an important milestone for us as we continued to expand our operations and serve clients beyond borders. The establishment of Datagrafix GSP GmbH solidified our commitment to providing top-notch publishing services on an international scale.
